There will be food, drinks, music, old and new friends, and NRCHA Million Dollar Riders.
Join us in the Doc Bar Room at 2 p.m. Friday, September 30. The Doc Bar Room overlooks the arena of the Reno Livestock Events Center.
This is a perfect opportunity for our NRCHA owners to get to know each other better and also to meet the new owners attending the show. As Larry Bell of Kalpowar said "I wish we had this type of reception 15 years ago when I started out. This reception will open doors for new owners since they can meet other owners who are leading the way in the industry and they can learn how to get involved at an early stage."
The Owners Committee Reception will be held immediately prior to the Select Yearling and Broodmare Sale, so everyone can be there to support the world's greatest reined cow horse sale.
The Owners Committee was sanctioned by the NRCHA membership and Board of Directors in early 2011, and its mission is to help grow and improve the NRCHA. You can learn more about the owners committee by visiting the NRCHA website at www.nrcha.com< under "Committees," or on the new Facebook page under Reined Cowhorse Owners. Make sure to "Friend" the Owners Committee.
You, your ranch, company or stallion can be a sponsor of the Owners Reception and will be recognized with an appropriate banner in the Doc Bar Room during the reception.
For details on sponsorship call:
Amanda Gardiner - 620-635-0827
Nancy Crawford Hall - 805-688-4241
The other members of the Owners Committee are Dave Allen, Eric Storey, Jim Vangelos, Larry Bell, Garth Gardiner, Bill Tointon, Janiejill Tointon, Lesley Day, Jerry Peters, Floyd Miller, Newt White, John Stephenson, Brenda Stephenson, Penny Youngblood and Nancy Pearce.
